Awfis, a provider of integrated workspace solutions, today operates 12 centers in Hyderabad and plans to double its footprint in the city in the next few years.
The company today has centers in places like HITEC City, Kondapur, Financial District, Gachibowli, Begumpet, Ameerpet and Banjara Hills.
Amit Ramani, founder and CEO, Awfis said in an exclusive interview with Telangana Today: “Hyderabad is a critical market for Awfis’ growth and significant investments have gone in this direction. We plan to expand our centers from the current 12 We expect a total investment of about $ 7 million (more than Rs 50 crore) for new centers in the city. ”
The company has just reached its 100-center milestone nationally by opening a new center in Bengaluru. Following this expansion, Awfis is now spread over 4 million square feet of pan-India with more than 62,000 seats in 14 cities, making it the largest flexible workspace provider in India.

“We are optimistic about the growth of the flexible workspace industry this year and accordingly our goal is to further double our capacity in 2022 by launching our next 100 centers and entering new markets to establish a strong presence in 18 cities in India settle, “he added.
Each of the existing 100 centers is equipped to meet the requirements of large-scale enterprises, amidst the new norm. Awfis’ fully technology-enabled workspace solution platform covers the full spectrum of workspace needs, from work-from-home to work-near-home and hybrid work requirements.

Awfis expanded its base from 5,800 desks across 20 centers in July 2017 to more than 62,000 desks across 100 centers in 14 cities. In the past 15 months alone, the company has launched more than 50 centers, with 30,000 seats amid the growing demand for flexible workspaces.
Ramani added: “In the course of the pandemic, Awfis has grown from a co-player to an integrated provider of end-to-end workspace solutions that are changing the way India works.”
